Image resizer: Good utility to resize your pics

If you have a very big picture with big dimension and you want to decrease image size to upload it to facebook or email it even if you want to save your hard disk space by resize your pics with low resolution
you can use this small utility :
1- download and setup image resizer from IMAGE RESIZER
2- select picture(s) you want to resize

3- right click and choose Resize Pictures
4- choose your desired dimension and click ok

--- you will find the new images with new dimension in the same folder

How to pause a process or application to free memory a while?

How many times you need to do a temporary task while another one eat your memory and cpu and you need it also...
It's a big deal when I run a game and need to minimize it and do another thing as open my Internet browser which work so slowly when the game is still running in memory
Here's the solution you can pause the big task until you finish the small one or do what you want then resume it
First, you should download process explorer from this link Process Explorer

Second, open it and click on the task that you want to pause it a while
right click the program you want it to pause - in this example the program that eat memory is 2006pharm.exe - then click suspend and so it will pause and you can use your computer as it is not working then after you finish your tasks and want it to resume right click it again and click resume

Easy way to change font size in MS Word using keyboard?

You can change font size in Microsoft Word using keyboard by:

1- Select the word or paragraph you want to change it's size
2- to increase size click "ctrl + ]" and hold ctrl with repeated click on ] will increase font by 1 pt and so on.
   to decrease size click "ctrl + [" and hold ctrl with repeated click on [ will decrease font by 1 pt and so on.

Use windows Paint to convert image format

How many times we need to convert image format and we have no time or money to download any software, Now you don't need any external software only with Paint
It's easy way to convert your images extension format to many image formats :

1- you should open windows paint from start menu --- click run --- write "Paint" and press enter
2- from file menu choose open then choose the desired image
3- after you open your image from file menu choose save as then give it new name and from "Save as Type:" choose your desired format image as (bmp, Jpg, GIF, TIF, PNG)
** then click save and now you have the new image format

It is quick way to change image format from jpg to bmp or from bmp to jpg or to png or tif or gif format.

How to change folder Icon?

Sometimes we need to change classical folder icon, it's very easy with this steps :
1- Right Click on the folder you want to change it's icon and choose properties...
2- Click on Customize tab from properties windows

3- Click on Change Icon Button
4- From change icon browsing windows you can choose your desired icon or you can choose one from shell32.dll library and you can get it through "%SystemRoot%\system32\SHELL32.dll"

How to disable Low Disk Space Warning message?

Many of us suffer from this annoying message in this tutorial you can turn this message off :

 
1- Click start menu
2- click run
3- write "regedit" without qoutes
4- click enter
5- go to this directory (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ Software\ Microsoft\ Windows\ CurrentVersion\ Policies\ Explorer)
6- Create Dword value and name it NoLowDiskSpaceChecks --- if it isn't there
7- double click it and set it's value to 1 and press ok
